I removed the oil pan late last night and to my horror found the oil pump screen obstructed with very thin pieces of metal shavings bronze looking metal.and a small piece of timing chain plastic rail. I need to upload pics... Oil pump nut was tight... Now did enough pieces go in the pump to lock it down..?? I still need to remove the head on drivers side....but its not looking good at all..Leave a comment:

Check the chain tensioner. If its bad it may be possible that the cams rolled far enough to have a valve smack a piston???

So i removed passenger side valve cover no damage... I was thinking can the Dual Mass Flywheel cause this problem??? Meantime i will continue to dig in engine...Leave a comment:

Most definitly my next steps... Aside from that no external damage can be seen...oil level is good...coolant too...shoukd have an update on this soon...may help prevent problems for others. Sad thing is this motor has like 160 000km...thats it...sad...Leave a comment:

Pull the lower pan and look inside!
Or pull the vavle covers. Could be a broken chain
