    E28 vs. MZ3 Radiator...

Hase anyone compared them? Eyeballing it, it seems like a big two core vs. a small three core.

If they provide equal cooling, does the E28 rad give extra clearance from the engine?

I have the e28 rad in my car and it will work temporarily, but if you stop in traffic or beat the engine temps will creep an I have a fan that push 3600cfm and that still doesn't help much.

Well, I guess that answers that. Thanks.

I believe e28 and e28 535 rads are different though - the 535 being bigger. This is from research I've done a while back though and could be mistaken.

Ah, good point. I should have clarified that I was looking at the 535 radiator.

I read this question and all I could envision is the rad in my euro 528i that fits inside the rad support... Then thinking "how is that even close to the size of the z3m?"

I realized I must be missing something.
