So yeah... I've been complaining that my car doesn't have enough power lately... so I bought this:

I can't tell if it's a clone of CXRacing's old designs or if it's their leftover inventory... but whatever, I think it'll be worth it even if I have to modify it (lol who am I kidding, OF COURSE it's gonna have to be modified :D/:( )
In any case, I only bought it since I found some installed pictures online. No chance in hell the drivers' side manifold will work, figure worst comes to worst I can just use the shorty I currently have over there.

I took some measurements from the picture and using the valve cover for reference, adjusted the measurements to scale. The outermost portion of the turbine housing is roughly 14" from the outer edge of the valve cover. For those of you with 302's, you know how tight that's gonna be... the turbine housing will probably be either touching the wheel well or it'll be damn close.
On the bright side, I've got a different alternator bracket than the pictured one (gives me an extra 2-3"), so if I really have to I can torch the welds off the primaries, cut em down a bit and reel the turbo in a little closer to the block. I really don't want to though, because I'm pretty sure that down pipe will mostly work with this swap.
In the end though, even if I can only use the passenger side manifold it's still worth the $200 for me. Also, I can weld some extra brackets up so the typical cheap ebay stainless steel doesn't crack on me.
I plan on running the weakest wastegate spring I can get until I get a 2nd diff mount, DSS axles, TKO trans and a dart block/forged rotating assembly. I'm banking on the stock stuff holding up under 4-5psi (all ARP fasteners) but will hopefully make an extra 50-100whp/tq.
