nv3500 shifter takes out heater core but with a little bend it works.

What brake setup are you using for a booster and master cyl?

Had it down the road yesterday after I unbolted diff mount. rotated it down to same deg as engine and trans. Drilled new hole for bolt. Seems much better. Ordered new filter/regulator. Hope to have it by Friday see how it works then

heres the update. walbro 255 is in went from 15-20psi and hardly running to 30-35psi and runs but not wot. think my GKI filter/regulator is junk now. have to get another filter. got my coolant lines geared up and that seems to be working fine. car has vibration trans might be hitting tunnel might need to let it sit a little lower. or maybe its the really hard polly mounts and the v8...

Awesome work. I'm watching with great anticipation as I am planning to do the same thing with an 86 I picked up a few weeks ago. I bought an Envoy with the Al 5.3l to swap into it.

fuel pump is in runs now... trans is junk input bearing is shot. crazy loud except in 4th because of the 1-1 ratio... didn't go far do to salt on roads, kinda hard to keep it straight on the salty sandy road. i have another trans in a truck that's going for scrap but its under 4 feet of snow....hope i can pull the trans out from under the car don't want to have to pull the engine/trans out again....

also have some coolant coming from my expansion tank... i filled the e36 rad threw the upper hose. filled engine with upper hose. then hooked the lines up. used e30 tank with the small line to the rad. plugged the lower hose on the tank. think I'm going to run the hose out of bottom of tank over to the hose i have looped on side of water pump since I'm not running a heater core... the lower rad hose is to short to tap into. i think that's the best option....

nothing like finding h&r springs when your parents move and clean out the garage. h&r on rear, coilovers on front with billy sports all around. fuel lines done removed oem filter put 5/16ths line in place of it. vette filter plumbed into oem lines.

just waiting on pipes from siliconeintakes.com...

Well you will def have some weight savings haha, its probably an easy 15lbs. I was just trying to keep the u joints/tunnel clean and the noise down as much as I could since I have no cats and only one muffler

The one that goes in between/separates the driveshaft from the exhaust

the one on the right side of the picture after trans brace

Edit again: Heres another view, you can see it above the exhaust

Wasnt hard at all to modify just wish I knew it was going to rub before I put it all together.

PS sorry OP didnt mean to thread jack you.
