I dont know if other guys had this problem or not (could be a vert thing lol) but I had to hammer the shit out of my exhaust heat shield so that the drive shaft wouldnt rub on it under heavy load. I learned this the hard way after the exhaust was already on. :(

3" drive shaft built and installed snug fit but it fits...

shifter made from jack handle. works great needs new shift knob.

got a start on my headers. cheap used set i got local. just need to be joined back together. (pipe in the mail now)

exhaust will be 2.5" from headers to single 3" with this single muffler.

made up the trans mount today. also got more wiring done...
used a polyurethane mount i got at a swap meet. bolted on perfectly and oem mount was in perfect location. just welded on a plate drill couple holes.

also noticed my diff needs to be shimmed down a bit the drive shaft flange is going to hit top of subframe...

Wow... Thanks for trying out the NV3500... good to know how it fits, even if that's "not so well".

i knew it would be ahead a little far. but not that far lol. its not bad tho needs a little more tweaking. the throw is not bad at all for a truck trans. should work fine.

test fit last night... has to come out for slave cly fitting(should be here tomorrow). and grind bolts on rack for more clearance, i also pt new holes in mounts to get farther back....
nv3500 shifter takes out heater core but with a little bend it works.
