Real easy. Buy a standalone harness. Read instructions. Wire it up. Start it up.

That sucks! I had the same thing happen during my truck build. Had to pull the cab and basically blow the whole thing apart to get at it ugh.

Yeah sorry about that I've been meaning to update this thread since forever.

    So far I've installed

    - Remote oil filter setup with modified hoses and fittings
    - All new SS braided power steering lines
    - Radiator/hoses/fan/overflow
    - Intake pipe and filter
    - All the brake and clutch reservoirs and hoses
    - All new 3/8" steel fuel tubing and hoses with a new 255lph walbro in-tank pump and rerouted the vent line to the gas cap.
    - Reinstalled the dashboard with all the gauges, ignition switch panel and kill switch wired up
    - Wired up 95% of the engine and ECU harness. Finishing up the fuel pump and fan relays
    - Relocated the battery to the trunk (stock was mounted upfront)

I'm hoping I can get all the electrics done by tomorrow and hopefully have the ECU unlocked and ready before the weekend for its first start up.

I did discover a major leak from the clutch slave which will require me to pull the transmission out though. That's gonna be a major PITA.

The pic below is all I have for now I'll get updated pics tomorrow.

My filter is on the front of the motor where the AC compressor would be. Attached to the same bolt holes I think. passenger side next to the balancer just above the oil pan. <3 it so much.

    haha no worries

Installed the steering rack and sikky shaft. Took me about 20mins maybe. Would've been a 5 min job if I had someone slide the shaft into the u-joints in. Lots of space between the primaries too. I'll get pics tomorrow. Not sure where to mount the remote filter though.

Not bad, free upgrade. Sure its more of a pain but more power.

Wasn't complaining rather explaining what needed to be done for future swappers. Besides, I wanted 1-3/4" headers knowing the 1-7/8" will give me a hard time with installation not cuz I'm a cheap ass.

heh you complaining they sent you better headers by mistake? I chatted with the engineer dude, he told me to undo both motor mounts and loosen the trans mount, then take a long ass 2x4 and have someone pry the engine to one side so you can fit the headers in. HUGE Pita. GL getting the steering stuff in -_- I had such a hard time with that.
