Removed my old RB25DET, trans and the related wiring. Clearing out the interior and sending it off for paint soon.
Got my heads torqued down. Just gotta install the rockers and pushrods and mod the water pump for the steam line.

Still waiting on a few more parts to arrive so i can finish off my heads.
In the meantime I worked on the block and spent some time prepping the dashboard.
Stock pistons & rods with Clevite rod bearings and FM piston rings
TSP cam
New GM sprockets
LS2 timing chain
Melling high pressure oil pump
ARP bolts throughout.
Bought a clean dash from a member here and fabbed up some aluminum plates for my gauges, head unit and such.
AEM A/F ratio gauge in the far left AC vent. AEM oil pressure, oil temp and water temp gauges in the center vents. Got an old Pioneer head unit mounted up. The area above might be used for ignition, acc and other switches. Haven't decided yet.

Looks good I got the texas speed v2 cam used.. also had texas speed tune mu pcm.. just started it never drove it yet.

Got my cam kit yesterday!
Texas Speed 228R cam with PRC 0.625" beehive springs and TSP chromoly pushrods
Picked up an LS7 flywheel, clutch disk and pressure plate from the dealer as well.

Those headers are gorgeous. I think mine are robbing some serious power stupid 1 5/8 Grr.

Sikky swap kit. Went with 1-3/4" headers, steel driveshaft and Sikky steering shaft.
Stock rockers upgraded with Comp Cam trunions

Not much really. Just looking to refresh this engine and upgrade some parts if needed. ARP bolts/studs where necessary, all new bearings, all new gaskets and seals, a nice mild cam for a bump in power and component upgrades where reliability may be a concern. Stock T56 if i can just get my hands on one. Rest of the car is already sitting on all new bushings, suspension, Z3 rack swap, etc. Will need a 188mm diff and stronger axles though. Will post more once parts come in.
