I gotta say, it's just plain weird that it would be so off.

New replacement boot on the way! Hopefully the first one was just some freak accident.Leave a comment:

I think the time is right to clock the engine mounts about 20 degrees. Hahaha!

hahahaha I can't stop laughing at that boot!
Is it MTC brand? That's what I got and it fit fine. There's a very slight upward angle but nothing even close to that, lol.Leave a comment:

Right, the traction control motors had a metal elbow. But both the ASC-T and non throttle bodies look identical (part #'s 13541747763 and 13541741671) sans metal elbow. It has to be the boot... Right?Leave a comment:

Is that an OEM piece?

Bought the boot new. For a 95 540 part # 13711747995. Would it matter if my throttle body came with traction control and the boot is for non asct engines? Not sure if my engine originally came with it but I cant think of any other reason...?Leave a comment:

That just looks like the wrong part. What car was the boot from ?

Wtf is my problem here? Shitty intake boot or wrong throttle body? For some reason my tb doesn't have a part number on it
The angle of the boot when fully installed seems a little ridiculous. Or maybe it's just me... Idk.Leave a comment:

yeah it's an auto harness. still kicking myself for missing out on the manual harness from the junkyard from when i pulled my transmission. would've saved me a lot of money/time/effort. who the fuck rips into a harness like that? the thing was destroyed.Leave a comment:

damn that's rough. the plugs are pretty self explanatory once you slap it on the motor, save for a few that are no longer in use (or have never been used)Leave a comment:
