regular old m60 swap

    change over to the 740il oil filter housing. thats what im running... oh but your keeping the ABS..... out with the ABS you dont need it anyway..

        Ah, the e38 ones don't mount to the cover. Yeah if I wasn't keeping abs that would be pretty perfect.

          Due to the shitty timing my harness is going to take 2 fucking weeks to get here! It should've taken 3-4 days. This is killing me. :(

              Which harness are you using? I have an automatic 540i harness, I'm looking for other options. Although I have though about building my own.

                  I dropped the engine/trans in and bolted in the trans and d/s. Then jacked up the engine into place. Took a couple side to side measurements to make sure she was square. Not particularly hard, just time consuming... but time I have..

                      Would you happen to still have those measurements? I don't have a Trans yet but I'm trying to get everything ready for the swap before I start so I can have my car back up and running asap. If u have them that would be great.

                              Took my dad's car for a leisurely drive down to San Antonio on Monday.

                              Both vc's the coolant tube, icv, x20, and an alternator! So glad that 3 hour round trip was worth it.
