Test fit. Going to lower the pedals a smidge, and I still need to grind/file the Wilwood assembly for my throttle linkage.

Had some free time yesterday, so I did some guy stuff.
Got my oil pan off a few days ago and gave it to my buddy to modify. Also spent some time last night getting my brakes and throttle set up. No pictures of that though.

Nice! Get it! I love that you're doing it where you can get it done. Not taking no for an answer. Good on you!

Clutch came in :D hopefully this thing lasts(ebay special, fx stage 1), seems like some people have had good luck while others not so much. maintenance items should be in later today too!
Also, should I use these pilot/release bearings that came with the kit or order new OEM ones? or not even worry about it and start slapping stuff together?Last edited by dothadance; 09-10-2015, 08:11 AM.

I bitched when I had to stop working and sweep the smooth floor of my 800 sq ft heated garage because my creeper would hit dirt and not roll smoothly.
On the other hand, you certainly do have quite a bit of room to work there... haha

sold all my five speed stuff, and within five minutes of the money being handed over i spent it lmao. $400 worth of gaskets and maintenance items, and an fx stage 1 328i clutch in the mail coming in hot!! doesn't seem like i need too much more to drop this sucker in and start rolling:twisted:

Got some work done.
an empty bay and a transmission in my trunk.
My work space lol
I get three paychecks this month and I'm selling all my old five speed stuff so I should have a little money to wasteLast edited by dothadance; 08-27-2015, 12:35 PM.

I don't think I've ever seen anyone remove a torque converter in a carpeted room in their home, especially with a single sheet of newspaper and one rag below it. I had a drip tray, drain pan, and a whole bag of rags under my car in my garage and still ended up with ATF everywhere...Last edited by dothadance; 07-18-2015, 08:53 AM.
