    M60 & M62 rebuild guides

    Hi,

I'm looking to locate technical manuals for both m60b40 & m62b44 engines, going to start on an m60b44 build.

I've a full m60 that's put a leg out and an m62 with head gasket failure, planning to combine the two.

I'm fairly handy, good selection of tools, decent ability, I'm an Aircraft Fitter but I've never pulled an engine down before.

Any data, how to guides & pointers would be fantastic.

      Thanks just read both posts.

As for technical data for torque settings & a general pull down guide / workshop manual for both m62 & m60 engines do any exist?

Its not cheap but I would think a bentley manual would be your best bet for torque specs and such. Since you're building a hybrid, it might be useful to have both E34 and E39 on hand. However maybe someone else can chime in and confirm if the M60 and M62 torque specs are the same.

Where can the Bentley manual be bought from? I'm in UK / Ireland.

Sounds like you're not really taking this seriously... because I think you'd have googled bentley manual by now...

I'm a nice guy though, I've got the E34 PDF.

You're gonna have to search for the E39 one or shell out the money. I find it nicer to have the actual manual because scrolling through pages by the car is much easier.

Ive never heard of a Bentley manual before to be fair, maybe it's something you guys use in the states?

                Thank you for the link.

Does anyone know where I can get the e39 one online so I can do some reading.

I'm relatively new to these engines.
