Check your cam timing You may be "on the wrong TDC" when installing the timing chain. Be sure No1 cylinder is where its supposed to be when the timing indicator on the crank
pulley is at TDC

Pics on post #345 show valve interference marks on several pistons. Can you list the valvetrain specs? Also pistons, heads, any machining, etc.Leave a comment:

Took it out today. Checked the other pistons and valves and they're good. I can't take the harmonic balancer off by myself. Hopefully tonight I'll have. Friend help me out. Then I can check timing

Idk. I honestly don't. Valves are new... Machine shop put them in. I think when I jumped the starter and probably hit one good time and that's where it stopped

Turn it the other way freely. Then it stops. So I go back the other way. Keeps going and it stops.
So. I thought maybe it's out of time. Took rockers off. Tried spinning it. Same thing. So not the timing I thought
So I took heads off. Maybe the valves were hitting? Idk?
Wanna see how bad my luck is with this car? Look at the pictures







Spins freely now without a fucking snapped valve in it. Turned the generator off. And left it like this. Idk what's going on

Trans is off. Clutch is off. Flywheel off. Still won't turn by hand. I don't understand how it's locked up when it spun freely a couple months ago. Maybe moisture got in because of the storage unit? Idk. Going to borrow a hoist and stand and pulling it out. Idk what it is.

Hey guys. I'm trying to jump the starter so I can turn the motor and check what my oil pressure is. I don't have the wiring on. Don't have spark plugs in. All I was is the starter to turn and prime the motor with oil and then check if I have 20lbs-30lbs of pressure. When I jump the starter. All it does is clicks. I have the motor grounded to the chassis twice.
Tried to turn motor by hand and it won't turn. Trans was hard to mount. Idk why but I think that's why my motor won't turn.
Pulling trans out tonight.
Part of me wishes I could sell this and go s5x turbo. Nothing has ever gone right.
