The pleather was looking pretty bad on the A-pillar covers, so I decided to redo them.

Don't anybody say anything but I took one of my girl's(wife) leather jackets and went Edward scissor hands on it hahaha.
Used some DAP contact cement, works great! Tried the spray on stuff, didn't work to good. Heres one almost done, then done.

    And installed!

The pillars covers led to fixing the overhead panel that was all tore up(on the back side) making it look all deformed.
Removed the screws under the sunroof and shades and pulled.

Had few cracks, peeling and broken pieces like this.

Nothing some clamps and Gorilla Glue won't fix.

Now back in its proper place!

Almost bought this the other day, but figured I should save the cash for the build. Maybe later.

After TONS of diagnosing and changing bad or suspected bad parts I turned on the car with all the optimism I could put together and it ran......... The same.. No worse haha...

It was putting out a little smoke before but every time I have turned it on it has gotten worse(even before I messed with it). Then it started SHOOTING water out of the exhaust!! What the wheezy! Was told its possibly a cracked head. Which is crazy cause the previous owner spent over $2K a couple of years ago on getting the head all redone and fixed and what not. Heres a vid.

So I find this after taking out the carpet. Didn't find any rust on the whole Thirty except for this. Time for debridement.

                Underside cleaned.

                New piece welded in.

                  Whiles I gots it out.

Going to repair the center console... All cracked up underneath. Was all flimsy when I took it out.
Some clamps and my friend Gorilla Glue to the rescue.

Ready to go back in, after the carpet of course.

So I did a Kobe Saturday night hooping up on some youngstas. Torn/Ruptured Achilles tendon. Guess thats what happen when you dedicate to much time to family and school and not enough to exercise/sports then play ball over 3 hours out of the blue. Turns out this is pretty common. My doc says he does at least one Achilles repair per week. Fyi also happen to "the Rock". Never knew anyone this happen to before it happen to me, now I know tons of folks.

Oh well life goes on. Gonna do little here and there, what I can.

                              Like... Some subtraction..

                              Clean!

Anybody know a way of getting that old tint off without damaging the heat filaments?

Look what came in the mail. Yea boyee. Painted my color and in good shape. Thanks 2002jm (r3vlimited member)!

                                Time to install.

I was going by these installation instructions but after multiple measurements it was not lining up correctly.

So I did some minor adjustments and installation came out exceptional.
