Track progress:
First track day I got a broken trailer, and it was raining so I just gave up and stayed home. Ate the track fee. O well.
Signed up and went to Buttonwillow CW13 on Saturday. Towed the car there, pouring rain.
Cleared up but got some fun wet laps in the morning.
The car did great, basically no major issues.
New o ring on the stock PS reservoir leaked again, so going to just get a fancy reservoir.
Trans still dumping fluid from the breather tube, even after putting a vac cap with a tiny hole on it. Gotta find a solution for this.
Brakes worked excellent with SRF and DTCs, second half of the day got wheel vibe under heavy braking after a couple laps. Maybe pad deposits? Need to resurface the rotors and try again. Nothing obvious wrong.
And thats about it! LSD worked good, temps stayed perfect all the time. Need more tire but 225 RS-RR are good enough for now.
Actually got some video this time, albeit at a bad angle.
jumped her out of the garage (literally if i stalled the car i had to jump it)
to go to a little meet at EF1 and BMWCCALA nearby. The BC coils are WAY too low, need to readjust. the driveshaft or something is clicking or barely tapping something, you can hear it under the shifter.
I think I'm going to start drifting it after summer (too hot). I've been leaning towards drifting a lot lately. I love my s13 but it doesnt have any power and all my swap money went to the e30 lol. I'm putting some cash into making the s13 look better to try to motivate me. We'll see. Maybe ill pull the dual cam soon and refresh it, at least try to make it run better.
