M6x alternator to driver side frame rail spacing

If you've completed your swap can you post a clear photo showing how much space you ended up with between the alternator and the frame rail?

What he says. basically 0 but 5mm it is tight. I did massage the frame rail abit.

Yep, that's my plan as well. Just wanted to confirm you guys are seeing the same and it wasn't something odd.

I'm using Garagistic arms, with the 95A Poly mounts.

I haven't heard of anyone with problems with the alternator. were all on stiff poly mounts, so the motor wont move that much

Yeah, I am not going to risk it as I am building mine to throw around into corners as hard as the tires can handle it . Going to remove the alternator and massage that area a little bit.

Can a 6 cylinder alternator fit? I have one laying around and it's a lot smaller diameter than my v8 alternator.

The mounting position on the two is different, v8 is 3 on one side vs 6cyl. I went ahead and massaged that spot to have 1/4" of clearance.
