Did valve covers on my OBD1 m62.. now runs like crap

So I did the valve covers on my m62 swap car, but I ordered the wrong ones... Long story short the car sat for almost two months with the valve cover job half way done. Finally got around to finishing them, put everything back together now boom.. car runs on three cylinders.

Two are misfiring on bank1 and three on bank2. I know this because while it's running I unplugged the coils and nothing changes.

So I'm thinking is a wiring issue? Maybe a bad ground? I checked all connections and swapped could and pluggs but no luck. The only thing I can think of is maybe the ECU crapped out??

Any ideas would be great. Thanks

That sounds a lot like a ground issue.

update, found out it had nothing to do with my valve covers. Five of the injectors were stuck closed. fun fact, a m62 will run on three cylinders.

Must have been. Little b*stards had me chasing wires and tearing the whole thing apart looking for a mouse nest
