    Odd Double Lock issue

Okay, I believe this is odd.

If I turn my driver side key to 90 degrees to double lock it, all the double lock features work, however I cannot pull my key out of the hole. I tested that all the features work, I as I rolled down my windows, I then turned the key to the double lock feature. I then reached in to try to open the door from the inside and it would not open (due to the double lock engaged) I then tried to use a spare key to unlock the passenger door and it would not (due to the double lock).

If I turn my key back up to the regular lock feature, then my key comes out perfectly without any issues, but the double-lock feature is then turned off.

Very strange indeed. There's no reason the key shouldn't come out after double locking. Perhaps the lock needs to be rebuilt. Any E30 these days without keyless entry is subject to decades of wear and tear, particularly the driver's door. I always avoided using keys to lock/unlock by using keyless entry systems.. The one E30 I had without keyless, I almost snapped the key off in the lock because it was so stiff and I found myself always using the trunk to unlock/lock because it had less wear.
