A/C help needed. Button kept popping last year and now it no worky

Last year the blue a/c button would sometimes pop out as I was trying to push it. I sometimes had to try 10 plus times before it would stay down. This year it stays down but it does not work. The compressor is not turning on. Any ideas?

repalce the button or clean it. with all the gunk and dirt, the buton gets stuck.

The compressor has an electromagnetic clutch that activates it. With the engine off but the key in the run position, press that button and have someone listen to the clutch. It should click fairly loudly. Also check the clutch wiring and make sure it isn't too torn up.

Check the low side pressure in the system. If is low (less than 30 psi?) the compressor won't turn on.
