Wheels won’t spin freely when jacked

Picked up a set of cheap esm 009’s (don’t wanna hear it abt them being reps, they were $300) for my 86 325e project so I could roll it around & get more space in the garage. However I noticed when I put the wheels on the don’t spin freely at all in the fronts & the rears only spin maybe 1/3 turn.

Ill double check but I’m fairly confident the rotors spun freely before I put the wheels on. Car was in neutral & parking brake was off. I don’t think this was a problem before but I haven’t had wheels on the car in nearly 3 months so I can’t remember.

Could it be my lug bolts? When I bought the car it had spacers on it so the bolts should’ve been longer but when I measure them they’re approx. 60mm total length, & only 30mm of total thread, so they’d be too short really right?

    thanks for the help

Pull one wheel off and see if the hub / rotor spin without the wheels on. Look for witness marks. My guess is the lug bolts are too long.

...or the wheels foul the calipers. There are only a few options here...
