Ruined rear sunroof seal trying to replace it...help!

My '91 manual sunroof seal was in bad shape so I ordered front and rear seals. I tried to replace the rear seal in place and ruined the expensive new seal trying to cut it to length and pulling it into place.

Help! I couldn't find helpful YouTube videos or forum postings...

Do I need to pull the sunroof panel out somehow? Any guidance?! I've got new parts ready to install but don't know where to start.

    Thanks in advance.

I removed the panel and used the 1 piece seal (it's cheaper).

remove the panel. Use the 2 piece. Measure twice. Cut once. Don't rush.

Second this, the single piece seems easier to work with, and offers one less place to leak.
