E30 ABS pump to master cylinder lines

is there any internal difference between H and V ports on the pump?

I purchased OEM replacement lines and noticed that new H and V lines are not the same length as my original. After further investigation, I learned that new lines are exactly the same length as realoem states them to be but ABS pump diagram in realoem is routing pump H/V lines completely crossed to the master cylinder (lines 1 and 2). Basically they show H port on the master to go to V on the pump and V port is going to H on the pump.

Considering that H and V states for rear and front, I'm thinking that I can't just reverse them due to the internal pump solenoid wiring.....figured I'd ask anyway if anyone knows. If I'm correct, DO NOT but those brake lines based on realoem.com part numbers

Jordan of MTechnique just confirmed, these line can not be crossed. Looks like BWM made those line based on the same screwed up diagram as shown in realoem.com

Man that sucks! Thanks for the followup on it to close the thread.

"One day" I will get my ABS pump rebuilt. Just got the car on the road and so one step at a time.
