    Replacement blower motor

    Hi, I believe the blower/blower motor has seized in my 1990 E30 318is. Could anyone tell me the part number I should be looking for, as when I search it's coming up with loads of variants.

    I really don't want to strip the part out to find the part number.

    Also, the resistor for the blower is accessed from within the car, and not from under the scuttle from the bonnet as I believe the 325s are (and how all the videos on YouTube show)

    Since you use the word "bonnet" I take it you are in Europe and probably have the other style HVAC system. I didn't realize the blower was different as well. Most of the information you will find here is US specific. Perhaps try E30zone. You should be able to find the PN on realoem as well.

      When mine quit a good spray with WD40 and a few turns of the fan fixed it quick.
