Hello all,
I recently acquired a 1985 325E auto with a late 'I' manual engine swap (grey label ecu). I am working through a few of its mechanical issues that exist outside of the wiring but I want to confirm that it is indeed wired somewhat correctly. I have had a hard time finding definitive answers online regarding the late motor to early harness (rectangular c101) swap and unfortunately the circular c101 has been cut off the engine harness and has been spliced into the backside of the rectangular c101 (the plug still exists near the fusebox). Not having the circular c101 pinout has made it difficult to identify certain wires to verify the integrity of the swap.
I would really appreciate some help here regarding this and I would love to have full functionality if possible with regards to econometer, CEL, tach, etc... Tach currently works in addition to the battery and oil pressure light.
So what I am asking is: could yall have a look at what I have and please tell me if you see in glaring issues in the current wiring. I will post up pictures.
Thank you,
Will
