Need additional help

I thought redoing my grounds fixed the problem I was wrong.. lol

Hopefully someone here knows. Is there a relay that prevents the starter from cranking if it’s bad and if there is one where is it located? Everything else works fine. I can start the car with a remote starter off of the starter solenoid, but once it’s warm, it won’t crank 83 323 euro

BMW starters can have the solenoids fail in such a way that they bind when hot- the test is to pour a gallon
of water on the starter, and if that fixes it, replace the starter (or just the solenoid, if that's how you roll)
