central locking

    I just knocked the pin out on the end of the barrel from Ebay, slid the whole end section off put in on my barrel put the pin back in, fitted it back on the car, all works as it should.

      It swaps out and works perfectly fine, I speak from experience.
      I was experimenting with locks on my own as I didn't see that writeup when I did it. Therefore I wasn't aware about the inner plate being thicker on the drivers side vs the passenger. I didn't grind the lock like he did in the writeup and just put that clip in there. It pulled the cylinder a little into the door. It pretty much not visible as it's like a fraction of mm but my OCD knows it is there. Probably would be more pronounced if the paint was metallic.

      Here is a pic ...although it's almost impossible to see.
