hey what's up everyone I'm new to the german swapping scene and I have a 325es(complete car) that I got for about 300 bucks and I wanted to do a 325es swap into my 318i. I know that i need the undercarridge and the diff, what about the wiring and the ecu does anyone have print outs or have somekind of idea where i can fing a wiring diagram?

sell the es, buy an i car or motor.
OR
buy an m50/s50 motor (both from the e36 generation of cars, this is the 24valve motor that makes around 200 hp stock, depending on trim and year.
The i motor can be had for 400-500 bucks, make sure you get one that has intake, exhaust manifold, ecu, and starter.
If you rebuild the i without AC, power steering, or the mechanical fan, you can squeeze a few more hp out of it. Before it goes in the car, I would do a cam, head gasket, well, ALL the seals/gaskets, bigger intake, MAF, and piggyback ECU. You'll be out more $, but you'll have plenty of time since the 318 still drives, right? Also, I would consider a weight loss program for the car: remove sound deadening, CF hood is a -20lb option, euro (tiny) bumpers save only a few pounds but look better, lightweight wheels (Kosei K1 is the usual), The ac and ps delete saves about 60lbs too...
sorry for the stream-of-consciousness style, I have only been awake for a few minutes.

if you're going to swap an M20, at least swap in the 2.5. swapping in an E motor is a complete waste of time and effort, unless your only plan is to make a daily beater that gets okay gas mileage, but the M10 does that better.
the 2.7 does make more power though.. about 20 more hp and a ton more torque. but it's still pointless.

-Charlievery good way of putting it Charlie.
Like everyone else dont waste your time with that motor. Its trash. throw it out.
Go for an M50 or a B25

Wouldn't the e motor also make a good torbu charged motor I mean as far as compression and bore and stroke?....................see here is the thing wat I wanted to do is go forced induction and I was going to custom make a turbo kit for the car I mean it's cheaper than buy a turbo kit and then you got to think about the money I'm going to spend well.....the money isn't the problem what the problem is that I don't want to spend that much money on something that I can get for cheaper! Take a look this is what i'm planning to use as far as turbo kit parts.......CT 26 from toyota supra/Mr2, a gt28r from a silvia sr20 motor, or I also have the option of getting a GT25 from a red top sr20 from an s13 silvia. also I was going to order some stainless steel braided lines from the autoparts store of from hks, greddy somewhere like that. Then I was going to get an intercooler from ebay I saw some IC that could hold up to 25 psi that were around a descent size and were universal as far as the intercooler piping well there is this place my friend got his done at well he got his made for about 200 bucks, I also was going to buy an FMU to use as fuel management. So total I'm looking at about 3k for a custom setup..(oh and the manifold I was going to make myself)......that's better than spending 7k plus labor for someone putting it on! like GSM in Willmington, NC so what do you guys think?????? Do you think it will work? if not I also got a buick GN motor that I can swap into the e30 that though is some serious customization!!!! If this works I plan to do that Gn swap into an 85 s10 that I have i wanna say with about 500-550 rwhp......I'm cutrrently rebuilding the motor it'sself but i'm going to get it sone soon. I hope that the GN motor will hold about 30psi on stock internals

not with a 4300rpm redline it won't. by the time your turbo spools up you'll hit the rev limiter, and if you chip it to up it to say, 5500rpm you'll be floating your valves before you make any power. a 2.5l makes a better turbo motor, the compression is lower (8.8:1), it has dual valve springs (no valve float) and a 6500rpm rev limit.
you can get a used M20B25 for around $500-$700, and especially if you're planning forced induction, start with the i motor. TCD aka Todd is making something like 300hp on a completely stock M20B25 bottom end (of course his is professionally built).
