    Windshield wiper problem

Alright so everytime I turn the wipers on, I can hear the motor running but they dont move. The wipers also move freely with my hand and go well beyond their normal range. It seems as if they're disconnected. How do I get to them?

Theres a 13 mm nut that holds the wiper arm to the motor. Pop the cover at the base of the wiper arm, set the wiper arm to it's "standing" position, and tighten it. That should fix your problem.

^ Unless the transmission is disconnected from the motor. Then you have to go into the cowl and reattach the transmission the the drive arm on the motor.
OP-When you say go beyond THEIR normal range. Do you mean they're moving together but independent of the motor, correct?

I mean they are completely free. They move together but they are detatched from the motor somehow

chris, the first two posts answered your question. EDIT:Oh wait, they both got it wrong. All this time i thought they were suggesting what i was thinking.

They were right about a nut loose, but its the drive motor's nut thats come loose. You have to access this 10mm(?) nut from the access pannel located right above the engine. You have to remove the two straps holding the blower covers and then the blower motor. The wiper motor is mounted to the wiper assembly and you'll feel the problem inside there. You will want to review parts diagram on RealOEM to get a better picture.
