    Rough running e30...

    Ok... heres the short version...
    I hit a curb.
Shut the engine off right away.
Oil pump and pan are killed.
I tow the car home ghetto style. with another car
The whole way home the cluster is tweaking out....
I replace pan and pump from a wrecked car..
Now.. my car runs really bad, and my obc is constantly tripping out. And it also says check washer fluid, but its half full?

It idles rough and very low (around 500 at times and from there it shuts off), seems like its misfiring. I just did a tune up, (cap, plugs, rotor)
    and it runs the same.

its really low on power and hesitant. but once i get it past 3-4k rpm it hauls. Check engnie light sometimes comes on. then i rev the engine and it runs off.

Also what does the sensor on top of the oil pan do?
does it sound like i have an electrical problem? timing messed up?
i did turn the engine over by hand a couple times when i had the car apart on jack stands. idk if that might have done something.
any help or input is appreciated..

i am just bummed out cause i just fixed my car and now it runs like shit.

and i got two pans today... and a valve cover. for cheap..

and her is a shitty video:

If your check engine light comes on at idle (and the code says you have a bad O2 sensor) you have a vacuum leak. And on this engine, an oil leak is a vacuum leak.

Since you just touched the oil pan gasket, that's the first place to look. Does it leak?

I went out and looked at it, and it is not leaking oil from anywhere.
do you think it is possible my timing jumped a tooth?

yes i did.. ok.. so i drove the car today and its definatly not timing. cause when the engine is cold cold it runs fine. as soon as it warms up a little it runs badly...
When i was changing my pan, i jacked the engine up (not much) but i did. do you think i could have torn or disconnected some vacuum lines? the car sputters/falls on its face and has no power esepecially under load. if i rev it up out of gear or the clutch pushed in it revs up ok.
or if i drive and get it past 3-4K rpm it runs ok. and has some power.

There is a vacuum line that goes from the charcoal canister to the intake manifold and is really hard to see. That might have gotten disconnected. Take a look and see.

well i checked everything over, ( could not find any vacuum leaks) and i had my friend scan it. The car is running rich. very rich. I dont remember exactly, but i think he said the injectors are opening or spraying nine times a millisecond instead of the normal 3-4 times a millisecond. it also throws a O2 code.. so.. idk vacuum? or did the sensor really go bad?

Also it is highly possible that i had this problem before i hit the curb. It just got bad after i hit the curb.
I changed the AFM out and its the same thing.
Car runs good when cold, but when it warms up it runs shitty, and it back fires and what not.

I also had starting problems every once in a while.. i would crank and crank but it would not start. I would have to give it some gas and then it would start. this only happend when the engine was warm or luke warm.

I had a similar issue and changed my ecu as well, and all is fine.

Let me ask you about your screen name and sig. Is that your favorite movie or something? My GF loves that movie and always tries to make me watch it. i cant stand it. No offense.
