    What should i replace while...

The 325e transmission is out on the work bench?

besides the clutch i am replacing what else should i replace any small inexpensive things i can replace? 8)

Anything that should be done and may pose a threat in the future that would cause me to have to repull the tranny to replace.

Just trying to do some preventive maintance.
btw this will be for an 11/85 run Eta so no there is no carrier bushing..correct if i am wrong but the early Eta trannys do not have a carrier and the 4/86 got the carrier. I have both Eta transmission and they both are different shifter wise. as in one flops to the side when not in use as oppose to the other that stays up guess you could say
    TIA

    Pivot pin
    Clutch release fork
    Resurface the flywheel
    tranny input and output seals
    Rear main seal
    Clutch slave cylinder
    Tranny fluid
    Flex Disc
    Center Support bearing
    shift linkage
    New pressure plate bolts
    New flywheel bolts

This is all recommended to be done when you do a project like pulling the tranny.

I spent about $450 at BMA, but I don't remember if there were some other goodies thrown in there or not. That included a Z4 3.0L short shift kit.

Yea guys i am thinking about that. Putting a short shift in there whiles its on the bench. It would make alot of since to do that as it would make it a whole hell of alot easier on me in the long run. We shall see. I will be selling off a few parts on my black car so i can get a move on with some modifications.

I am also unemployed right now so i am inbetween jobs so i really do not have an income that is the main reason i am on such a tight budget.

i quit working with UPS just the other day. UPS sucks dick all around do not ever deal with them. they abuse packages like there is no tommorow.

Doesnt the clutch kit come with a throw out bearing?

                      Does it?

I am unsure if it does or not.

Anyone out there know if it does or does not include one?

I think the clutch kit comes with: clutch, pressure plate, to bearing, and maybe an alignment tool.

how difficult is it to replace the rear tranny output seal? can it be done while still in the car? (mine is leaking and the clutch has recently been replaced.)

now since i do not have a carrier bushing will installing a short shifter be a problem for me?

It's easy as long as you have a 30mm, thin walled, deep socket to get the output flange off.
