    gas pedal goes dead

Ok so i was driving my ETA the other day and then my car starts to sputter and can not shift past 3k RPMS the car does not stall out when left in gear, then the car will loose power the gas pedal is non responsive so i turn it off look under the hood for and loose wires hoses what not but nothing found? After that turn car back on and it runs fine for a liitle but then does the something i was thinking maybe the fuel pump is dieing?I have a new fuel filter i just put on about 3 weeks ago. This problem seems to go away after a full tank of gas?any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. thanks.:)

Put a fuel pressure gauge on the inlet to the fuel rail. If it doesn't hold 40 psi, you need a new fuel pump or have some other fuel feed restriction.

If the problem only shows up when you have 3/4 of a tank or less, the in thank transfer pump has probably failed.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.
