    antena gromet

Is there some trick to getting it on? I can't get it to pop all the way in.

Getting it on the sheetmetal or getting the antenna into it?
To get it on the sheet metal make the grommet soapy, start off one side of the grommet onto the metal and twist it on.

you don't even have to do that. make sure you have the antenna out of the car. now just stuff the grommet in (fold if you need to), and pop the antenna back in.. easy as pie.

I pulled the antenna, then used some pliers from inside the trunk to pull the grommet down

easiest way is to buy a rubber hammer and hit it in. You'll have to screw the antenna mast or unmount the motor.

lol... what if you didn't unscrew the antenna? Mine fit in pretty easily without taking it off... i haven't tried to see if it works yet, could this break it?

sort of off topic but does anyone know where I can find a rubber plug to seal the hole where I took my antena out?

you gotta take out the little ball thing on top of the mast... take out the whole mast and then put in the gromet... that's the easiest way.
