    Cheap CV Joint Boot Source???

    Hey guys,

My half shaft cv joint boots have seen better days (3 cracked, 1 ripped) and its about time to replace them.

From looking around the net, it seems like these aren't as cheap as I thought they would be. BMA is approx $120 for all four boots, which is about the cheapest I could find.

Just curious if anyone knows of a place where I could find these cheaper?

Yea, bimmerzone.com (worldpac distributor) is about $120 for all four as well.

At this point, i'm thinking about trying to find a way to repair the boots rather than replace them.

Cheaper to buy used halfshafts that have never been cracked/ripped.

Actually, thats an option I have as well. My buddy's got a 325e parts car.

Just need to confirm if the "e" half shafts are the same as the "I" shafts.

I ordered mine from bimmerparts.com, and they never charged me for them. Otherwise it was going to be about $90 for the rears, which didn't seem to bad to me..
