I currently have a key broken inside. I can turn the key to the on position and stick an allen wrench in hole to retract the retaining pin. I can't pull out the cylinder though. I've tried to pry it out with no luck. Am I going to have to just bust it or drill it out?

I think if i remember correctly, put the ignition postion on acc and stick a thin peice of metal in that little gap (hole) around the edge of the cylinder. And as you push in that little hole, pry out the entire lock cylinder.

The nail that you stick in has to be pointed or else the cylinder will not release. It also has to be the perfect size/thickness too.The difference between porcupines and BMWs is that porcupines have the pricks on the outside!Comment

omg omg omg.....the correct position is NOT the acc position. At least for me. It was about 10 degrees before it. Slid the pin in and it basically fell out. FML!!!
