Differences between "i" & "is" (pe

Are there any "performence" differences between a i & is E30??? I'm well aware of the basketweaves, sport seats, spoilers,etc.
Is the suspension the same on both??

I know that the engines are identical. And I have a feeling there is a slight (only slight) difference in either the springs or sway bars.

I have a 318is and I think one of the major diff's is the "is" has disc brakes on all fours and I think "i" have disc and drums?? 'S' is suppose to mean sport so I think the suspension is a bit lower on the "is" also?

The 325is has standard sport interior, maplight mirror, LSD diff, 12 button OBC, stiffer springs, front spoiler, trunk spoiler, MTech 1 steering wheel, and premium stereo. Many of these things were offered on the i's but were not standard from the factory.

All these things are true, EXCEPT the maplight mirror- I've never seen on on any of the '87 325is' I have seen. I've found these mirrors on alot of '88's and newer cars though!

Also, the shocks/struts were "custom" valved Bilstein's.

All 325is' had power windows + sunroof.
