    need new intake manifold gaskets

I just bought new gaskets for when i swaped the cylinder head and did a timing belt. That was under a year ago. Today, started the car and #6 is blown. Car is hissing like crazy and sure enough it is visibly blown. I need new ones but what has everyone else bought in the past? I dont want to have to replace these things again in 6 months. Should I use some RTV? on which sides?
