Is my car Euro or North America spec?

I have an Australian Delivered 318is m42, I want to get a chip but am not shore weather i would need a euro spec chip or a North American spec chip dose anyone know?

Also dose anyone now weather Euro Performace Chip's on ebay are any good, or if there are any someone could recommend?

aren't all M42 engines the same? the only difference I could think of would be fuel quality.

Well thats what i would think. I think the North American emission equipment is defferent.
