    chip and afm question

i changed my ecu and afm does that affect any on the car? the ecu fits the engine size and everything and i have a dinan chip to fit that ecu installed. Just wanna make sure nothing happens in the long run. I been driving for months and no problems instead of my idle control valve being shot.

As long as the DME and AFM are correct for the engine you have there'll be no problems.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

Make sure that AFM is tuned as well... there is an adjuster for mixture (hex/allen head under a cap usually) on there that needs to be set while the car is running and the oxygen sensor is unplugged (90% sure while the oxygen sensor is unplugged). 14.7 air-to-fuel ratio. See Bentley manual for specifics.

The Bentley manual is a very good tool to have... well worth the small investment:
