What is an SMT-6 ? where do i get it ?

Hey guys what exactly is the smt-6 and what kind of car can i get it out of ? or where can i purchase one ? and is it hard to convert ? i have a 325i

ya know, if you search, it takes the same ammt of time, and you will never get flamed. a 10-second search of this forum yielded plenty of answers. but i'm not sharing b/c you can click the search button and type "smt-6" yourself. besides, it's a secret.

I kind of agree, but...
it's not that complicated. it's just an AFC controller like all the dsm guys etc. use, but it also has an injector driver and can tap into the ignition map. I think the AFC's only mess with the MAF/AFM signals. Read up on it...anyone can learn about this stuff...everyone here didn't know anything at one point :)

He doesn't even know what it does, why would he need one?
