What is the check engine light fault code? If you have a manual for your car, you can check the fault code by pressin the pedal in 5 times, and then waiting for the flashes. It should be a series of flashes in 4-intervals. Then reference the number of flashes to the trouble code. should give you something unless the check engine light turned off after this happened. Did your ABS light come on by chance? my car stalled when my brake booster messed up...i never figured out what happened, because it didn't fix anything, it just never happened again....wierd stuff happens :)

no this is constant problem, like it will happen and then it will happen right away. The check engine light turns on and off. Could this be a problem with the bavauto chip thats in there?

Have you actually checked the fault code yet? It'll tell you exactly.

I had a similar problem awhile back, when I hit 100 MPH the check engine light started coming on and it was like the engine was bogging down. I replaced the O2 sensor but the fault was also for the AFM. I haven't had the problem again, so you might want to check your AFM.
