Possibly got some bad Gas what to do?

Well this morning my 88 325is left me stranded at the post office luckily a Friends mom was their so I got a ride home, borrowed one of the other 3 cars at my house and drove back down. After the second crank it barely started and I had to rev it at 3,000 rpm's to get it to run at all. Finally it started running smooth again. Yesterday after I filled up the car also gave me trouble starting when I stopped to try on some ski boots.
I'm thinking it was the gas as I went to the Sams club El-cheapo station. My empty light had poped on and it was the only station around, then about 10 min after filling up at the bmw dealership the car gave me a hard time starting also.

two bottles of dry gas. probably water in tank. Gas is lighter than water and goes to bottom of tank where pick up is. Dry gas and don't buy gas from el cheapo, and if you must add a bottle of dy gas once a mont to prevent build up of water.

Sam's club gas has never given me a problem, I think its actually amaco gas or some other brand. thats on both my 10:1 318 and 10.6:1 ITR

Why not drain the gas and refill from gas cans?

Drain Plug on tank is stripped, I ussualy run Amoco fuel in it, my friend has had problems there before also. I put a tank of the watter removal stuff and changed the plugs(el cheapo plug but they only need to last 8.5 days) the old ones were nice and ashy(burning oil which I knew it was) it fired right up so hopefully one or the other will cure the problem.

I'm not sure because I only use Chevron, but I wouldnt imagine that a fill-up at the el cheapo station would give you problems to an extent that you have hard time starting up the car?

            Solution....

            1. disconnect battery
            2. remove bottom portion of rear seat
            3. remove cover and pull fuel pump
            4. jack up car on driver's side
            5. get a clear plastic tube and a bucket
            6. syphon out bad gas
            7. refill with good gas
            8. put car back together
            9. start, run, enjoy

It will remove watter out of gasoline, my dad had to put it in his boat all the time as the filler cap leaked.

THe stuff I got wasn't called dry gas, most autopart stores will have multiple brands, on a side note, after replacing the plugs and dumping a bottle of that stuff in the tank the car ran fine to class last night, so it was one or the other I don't car as long as it stays running 8 more days.

If you don't have dry gas available, ethanol will work. You just have to get something that mixes with both water and gasoline. The main component of all those water removing gas treatments is alcohol.
