since i have the COMPLETE m50 swap "kit" can i use it for the e28? main part is wikll the e36 engine brakets and e28 motormounts put the engine where it goes?

I doubt it, I've got an 86 528e with the m20 and it's motor mounts brackets are different then the e30 m20. so you'd have to figure out some mounts, plus the driveshaft lengths will be different.85 325e 2.7 ITB'd stroker

Run a search on this. It was a topic of discussion not too long ago....and someone chimed in saying it HAS been done. If its possible, go for it. Very unique swap.

I'm sure it could be done with custom mounts. But frankly, you might as well just get an m30 car.
