    Getrag 260 reverse switch question

I currently got the car on jacks.....hope to get a reply soon.

On the Getrag 260, when installing the reverse light switch, there is a green wire with white stripe and a blue wire with a white stripe. Does it matter which way the wires attach to the prongs on the switch? They both look identical.

Thanks in advance for your help.

    no.

make sure you are using the right washer too... otherwise it will not ground out.

or maybe thats just m3's....

    EDIT:

Just plug them in and turn the key to on with the car in reverse dude. that'll answer your question too. ;)

Thanks for the quick reply Chris. I'll let you know the outcome. Now if you'll excuse me, a greasy undercarriage awaits :P

Edit: It seems either way you connect the wires, the reverse lights work.....the switch is merely making the connection. Bottom line...problem solved.
