It looks like the one i pulled out the car has a magnet and the one i got from pelican parts doesnt.. would this do any harm to my car if i put without the magnet?? replacing cuz old oil drain plug leaking..
You will be fine man. The magnet is nice because if there is a possibilty of any shavings or pieces of metal in he oil, it will be drawn to the magnet. But your motor with be just fine with the non-magnetic plug.

Yea i just saw a bad scrape on the plug thats why i assumed it was bad...i replace it with a new washer and it works perfect hasnt dripped or anything..im guessing the other washer was faulty..so know have a new drain plug for nothing lol...thx you
