        Tach will not read accurately
Oil temp wont work at all
        Water temp *should* read properly
        Speedometer will function properly.
Fuel gauge will not read accurately

        Specific enough?

It will read high. like putting an 8k face on a 325i tach.

Fuel Guage reads fine on my 12 gallon ETA Tank, Temp works fine, Service lights work fine, Speedo works fine, Tach is off slightly (going to get it recoded) and oil temp does not work (*need to wire a sender in place, easy stuff*)

picture of it in use on my ETA

so for instance, while the tach reads 4000, I am really spinning 3000

              everything else is fine

Why did you ditch the accurate readings of the eta cluster for inaccurate readings from an m3 cluster?

Because anything M3 is cool of course. Who needs accuracy when you have that little m-logo in the center of your instruments. It add's 1000 RPM you your engine too!

who actually uses the tach to shift by? I just look where the needle is or tell via engine noise.

I bought the cluster because when I do my 2.8L Turbo I want a tach that can scale up to 7200rpm's if I desire. Plus I can use the factory oil temp gauge

You have to put in a 6cyl coding plug for it to work properly,
remove the black front facia below the glass and you can see the coding plug,
install one from the same model year as your car,

                      I would kill for a 8k tach, cause I need one ;)

I need to look into this too. I can pin my tach now with the chip. 7200rpm sounds nice.

it still won't read correctly, you will need to have it recoded

Sound is a good and fun, but when your in the "grey" area before you hit redline it's nice to know exactly where your at.

and 6200rpm indictated on my tach is fuel cutoff, so I know where I'm at
