are you thinking of buying an ix, or trying to use an ix subframe in a RWD E30? if the latter, good luck. the ix subframe attatches in a different spot (further forward, the ix unibody is different). the steering rack (which is different) goes through it, and also the control arm mount is different (uses a larger ball joint) and also in a different location.
