Check Engine Question

The last few mornings when I start my car it has been idling between 1500-2000 rpm while the check engine light flickers on and off. After it warms up it stops. What could be causing this? I can't think of anything out of the ordinary I did to it.

Not certain what could be causing that. Have you tried plugging in a reset tool to the harness? Sometimes a resetting/clearing of error codes will solve the problem....or, give you a better idea of what may be wrong. I had something like this happen a while back when I had AFM issues.

I don't have a resetting tool.....is there another way to do this? Also, it seems to only be happening when it is really cold and it tends to go away after the car warms up. I was thinking it might have something to do with the throttle body (maybe it's sticking) or something like that.
