Am workin on some upgraded brake duct's and wondering what kinda effect hard rain is going to have, on stoppin, any one?

Don't know, but I do know plenty of E30's came with ducts stock so it must be ok -

How extensive of an upgrade are we talking here? Are you getting backing plates with flex-tubing to run up to the front scoops (like the racecar guys)? If what you have in store is anything less than what I described above, you shouldn't have any concerns. Just do your best to avoid areas of standing water and you'll be ok.
