    OBC speaking in tounges

I have an 86 eta thats had been sitting for about 2 weeks due to the cold weather(it was almost freezing lol) and a badly leaking exhaust. I had to jump it the other day when I put my new brakes on and it ran fine after that until I noticed the OBC was going nuts. ( My backlit bulbs are out so it has to be pretty bright to see it lol) It is scrolling thru all sorts of letter, number, and what appears to be ancient cunieform writing What would have caused this and how do I fix it? Thanks-Graham

Yeah, I already tried that a couple of times, also disconnected the battery and that didnt work either thanks though

Did you try taking the OBC out and checking the harness that plugs into it?

That's how I always fixed it when mine did it. It's a common problem, that's usually the fix.

mine does that sometimes, no biggie.. just tap it and it goes back to normal. It happens more often when it's cold outside, not usually when it's warm.

Well, I beat the living crap out of it, the dash, the console, and the back bumper for the hell of it, and it is still on the blitz, but i guess it doesnt matter because cause its only an eta lol and a beat up one at that, it has 350K miles on it so I guess I cant complain
