    From the looks of the picture it looks like a main crank pulley (damper).

      appears to be the normal 325i toothed Main Crank pulley, there is a sensor mounted near the AC compressor that reads off it.
      85 325e 2.7 ITB'd stroker

                    Lol, you can have the flywheel when i tear it off for my 5 speed swap.

                    To clarify. I've not been home for a day or three, and my brother has been posting under my name. (So if he's offended anyone, sorry. I always forget to logout of here)

                    He thought it was part of the actual crankshaft.

                          Eh, believe what you want. To be honest, i did not know exactly what it was, but i didnt think it was anything as retarded as he did. From now on i guess i'll have to log out to avoid flaming :oops:
