    Found a 325e for $600

And just finished writing the check to buy it.

It's an 86 - so it's quite hideous with diving boards and whatnot.... but it's a 2 door and has the 2.7 ETA in it. I can use some parts off it to complete a 2.7i motor, the dashboard, etc...

Currently, I have the 90 2.5i sedan. I'm wondering, can I just simply swap my head/intake onto the E block and go, or will the pistons hit the valves? Do ya'll think I should swap my head to the E car, or pull the E block and mine and then swap the completed motor into my sedan?

Are there any writeups on how to swap the plastic bumpers onto the older car? I realise this is kinda open-ended, but LMK what you guys would do with a spare car and the desire to have a 2.7i (cheap).

You'll need Super Eta pistons or custom made pistons.

Regarding the engine questioin - like, which car to end up using - whatever one has a better exterior.

The engine is a lot easier to swap then it is to pay for a respray, quite personally. I'd put the completed stroker in your sedan.

No you won't, you will just get a rather low compression ratio not fit for an N/A motor

after some investigating, it looks like I'll end up with 7.9:1 CR. Perfect for big boost. I may go with that and deal with the poopy lag till I can afford the turbo setup.

Any idea on HOW poopy this will feel?
